AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to be based in Austin, TX. 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Create electrical engineering designs and contract documents under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer.Design new modifications to existing medium and low voltage electrical power distribution systems.Design and document normal, standby, and emergency power distribution systems.Complete electrical design calculations including system load analysis, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, coordination studies, voltage drop calculations, and lighting calculations.Perform construction administration tasks including shop drawing review, site observations, and RFI responses.Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.Coordinate design solutions with other design professionals.Preparing engineering related calculations and developing drawings and specifications under the supervision of a Sr. Electrical Engineer.Performing assignments under the direction of a Sr. Electrical Engineer requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgement and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
